Apple’s JMET team is seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Manager who would be responsible for leading and managing a team of IT engineers who design, deploy and maintain network, system, storage, security and facilities infrastructure solutions globally. JMET is a rare team focused on security initiatives that provides critical IT solutions across most of Apple’s product line. These solutions are utilized from the manufacturing space all the way to customer facing solutions. We are looking for a passionate individual who can excel in a dynamic environment and who can provide leadership and technical mentorship to the infrastructure team based in the US.

Key Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years of technical leadership and proven success in directing and fostering highly technical teams
  • Wide technical knowledge base across systems, storage, network, IT security etc.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to seamlessly manage a variety multiple project simultaneously
  • Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups at various levels within the company
  • Knowledgeable on future industry trends across the various disciplines
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct large scale project management across multiple regions and disciplines
  • Deeply well organized, flexible, and responsive
  • Good judgement with strong interpersonal relationship, team building, and collaboration skills
  • Willing and able to travel


Coordinate resolution of complex issues that involve multiple disciplines. Facilitate customer communications during service changes, interruptions or outages Provide leadership for IT Infrastructure strategy Ensure interpersonal health through effective change management, documentation, communication, and leadership strategies Regular one on ones with staff to provide technical and soft skill mentorship and direction Engagement with vendors across the functions to understand product roadmaps, as well as managing of the vendor relationships Drive infrastructure projects end to end (ie. purchasing, building, validating, maintaining) Work with multi-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet the timelines and needs of the business

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience in a related discipline Master of Business Administration (MBA) or technical graduate degree, a plus
