We are seeking a project management professional, who will lead a team of project managers that support our engineering efforts. This role is also responsible to recruit extraordinary talent to grow the team. We are Apple's Identity Management team, seeking an exceptional Identity and Security Manager to join a world-class Identity Management Services Team. This is a technical PM role in a dynamic and fast paced environment. The candidate will need to have a good mixture of deep technical know-how as well as a background in higher level information security concepts with experience in leading such projects and implementations. Individual will be responsible to work with cross-functional technical and business teams during software development life cycle. Candidate must be able to prioritize issues and manage the details as well as the big picture. Being able to think on your feet is important, as is the ability to productively debate the validity of a given approach to any aspect of a project under your control.

Key Qualifications

  • Responsibilities:
  • - Prior experience and consistent track record leading multiple projects simultaneously
  • - Experience with leading and enhancing existing processes and engineering new processes at scale; ideally in the context of a large enterprise
  • - Experience supporting or implementing business critical processes and projects
  • - Able to drive and improve solutions which involve integration with different teams and tools
  • - Identify and resolve project conflicts and inter-dependencies quickly
  • - Capable of writing detailed process documentation, visual presentation of workflows, best practices/standards, and more
  • - Superb communication skills and polished demeanor, especially across varied audiences; e.g. working with multi-functional technical and business teams
  • - Understand and communicate complex technical, logical, or process issues in a timely, concise, and objective manner
  • - Strong presentation and speaking skills, especially in front of large audiences or high-level management
  • - Excellent analytical mindset and attention to detail, especially in predicting and preventing potential future challenges
  • - Ability to comprehend and apply new concepts very quickly
  • - Self-motivated and enthusiastic with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities

  • - Extensive experience with application design, integration and deployment in an integrated global IT environment
  • - Hands-on information security experience in large enterprise environments.
  • - Strong technical background, Familiarity with Java, SOA, J2EE, Object Oriented Programming, Oracle is a plus
  • Technical Skills:
  • - 8+ years of hands-on experience in large-scale enterprise application development using Java/J2EE technologies
  • - Knowledge and experience with Identity Management solutions, Kerberos, SSO, OAuth, SAML, Encryption, PKI,
  • - Java, J2EE, SQL, JSP/Servlets
  • - WebServices, REST, XML, JSON
  • - Object/Data Modeling, Design Patterns
  • - Spring, Hibernate, JBoss, Apache, Jetty
  • Non-Technical Skills:
  • - Strong judgment, oral and written communication, and leadership skills
  • - Ability of drive decisions, influence change and resolve conflicts effectively
  • - Strong time management and multitasking skills
  • - Ability to determine pragmatic technical solutions to complex business problems Desirable Skills:
  • - 6+ years of experience with Identity Management solutions, Security implementations and Vulnerabilities management.
  • - Experience with Agile and Test-driven development
  • - Knowledge of ETL, Data Synchronization processes

Education & Experience

BS degree in computer science or information management plus 5+ years or MS degree plus 3+ years’ experience or equivalent
